Each day we offer meals by ordering online through our FACTS family portal. At times during the year, we have specialty lunches to celebrate things the students accomplish. If you are interested in being a sponsor by being recognized in the Good News, you can let Michelle know by emailing her here. Being a "lunch buddy" is a great way to get volunteer hours for your required yearly amount. Please reach out to Michelle through her email here to let her know when you are available to help out.
The POPCS After Care program is available to students enrolled at POPCS from 3:30 to 6:00 each day.
After Care is open Monday through Friday when school is in session. Please refer to the academic calendar for dates of operation. In case of inclement weather, please refer to POP Catholic School postings on WYFF4 and WSPA7 and FACTS. If school is canceled or dismissed early, after care will not be in operation. In case of inclement weather during the After Care session, please watch for a communication alert for information on the closing of the After Care Program.
The philosophy of the after care program is to enhance the self-worth of participants by offering them an opportunity to have fun and feel good about themselves. The programs are both academic and recreational in nature and attempt to complement the student’s day rather than duplicate it.
We strive to provide a safe, supervised Catholic environment for school-aged children before and after school hours. Students are required to do homework each school day. All students are required to participate during homework time. Reading is required and is an important part of our program.
Here is the registration form. This would need to be printed off and filled out if your child is going to be attending aftercare for any amount of time. There are different rates for different times. It's $90 per week. The students meet in the PAC. If you need to put your child in aftercare last minute, send email to the aftercare coordinator Michelle Zimmerman before 3:15 pm. Please send a notice to the student's teacher to let them know to send them to the appropriate area.
